Our Mission

"We are Ambazonians — a people with a distinct identity, history, and culture. Rooted in the legacy of Southern Cameroons, we stand for human dignity, justice, and peace. In the face of oppression and humanitarian crisis, we advocate for the right to self-determination, and we work to protect the lives and rights of our communities through humanitarian action, global awareness, and peaceful solutions."

Who we are

A People: English-speaking communities of Southern Cameroons with a shared cultural and legal heritage.

A History: Once a British Trust Territory, our people voted in 1961 to join Cameroon in a federation that was later dismantled without consent.

A Struggle: Since 2016, peaceful protests against marginalization turned into violent conflict. Today, thousands have lost their lives, and hundreds of thousands are displaced.

What we stand for

1. Human Dignity

We believe every life matters. We stand against violence, discrimination, and systemic marginalization.

2. Justice

We seek accountability for atrocities and advocate for the rule of law, truth, and reconciliation.

3. Peace & Dialogue

We promote non-violence and inclusive dialogue as the only path to sustainable peace and a lasting political solution.

4. Humanitarian Action

We support the displaced, the hungry, and the forgotten through aid, advocacy, and partnerships with humanitarian organizations.

5. Self-Determination

As a right enshrined in international law, we assert the Ambazonian people's right to determine our political future.

Our Call

We urge the international community, NGOs, and human rights defenders to:

Recognize and respond to the humanitarian crisis in Ambazonia.

Demand a ceasefire and protection of civilians.

Support humanitarian access and educational continuity for children.

Promote inclusive dialogue for peace
